One shot dead by militants, two injured in explosion in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 3 (UNI) Unidentified gunmen shot dead one person while two boys were injured in an explosion in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said a 25-year-old Shabir Ahmad Bhat was shot dead by some unidentified gunmen at Saidapora in north Kashmir.

Two boys--Tariq Ahmad Sheikh (8) and Imtiyaz Ahmad Sofi (8) were injured when an explosive device they were fiddling with exploded at Tarzoo, Sopore, about 55 km from here. The injured were hospitalised, the sources added.
