Social audit,third party verification for "Indiramma" scheme:CM
Hyderabad, Feb 2 (UNI) Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today announced social audit and third party verification for all the completed houses under the ''Indiramma'' Housing scheme Phase-I and spill over.
Reviewing the progress of the scheme with Housing Minister Botsa Satyanarayana and officials at the Secretariat here, he said every house as well as the beneficiary would be enumerated and the details made available to the people, according to a press release.
He exhorted the Housing Department to expeditiously complete the Houses in Phase-I and II, and get ready for the launching of Phase-III of the programme.
He said at the end of the programme, there should not be any eligible family in the state left out, particularly the weaker sections.
Dr Reddy asked the officials to help the SCs and other sections to their houses complete.
The Chief Minister was informed that under Phase-I of the programme, Visakhapatnam topped the implementation with 91 per cent completion, followed by Hyderabad (86%), Anantapur (85%), Vizianagaram (76%), Nizamabad (75%) and Medak (74%). The districts which did not perform satisfactorily were Adilabad, Warangal, Prakasam, Srikakulam and Nalgonda.
