Ruling Congress gears up for Budget session

Hyderabad, Feb 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today held a cabinet meeting to chalk out the strategy for the Budget session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly beginning on February 11.

Briefing newspersons after the meeting, Finance Minister K Rosaiah said the state budget would be presented on February 16 and the session was likely to last till March 27.

The legislative council session would begin from February 12.

Mr Rosaiah said the Chief Minister was very particular that officers should avoid going on leave.
