Pune, Feb 2 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, west Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalseema, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Severe cold wave conditions prevailed in Haryana, Punjab, Chattisgarh and in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places in Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Telangana.
Cold wave conditions also prevailed in Kashmir, south Madhya Maharashtra and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar and in remaining parts of Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Tamil Nadu.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, north interior Karnataka and in some parts of Rajasthan and in remaining parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Madhya Maharashtra.
Night temperatures were below normal in Jammu and in some parts of Saurashtra and coastal and south interior Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and were below normal in remaining parts of Rajasthan.
They were normal over the rest of the country.
