Nine arrested in attack case

Kannur, Feb 2 (UNI) Police today arrested nine people in connection with an alleged attack on CPI(M) cadres and vandalising the party office at Aroli in Pappinasseri in Kerala.

Six CPI(M) workers suffered stab injuries in the attack, allegedly by NDF sympathisers at Pappinasseri yesterday, police said.

The injured were admitted to a private hospital.
