Minor killed, family injured

Pilibhit, Feb 2 (UNI) Armed assailants shot at a family, killing a 12-year-old at Khaprail Gotia area here today.

The assailants barged into Bhagwan Saran's resident and fired upon the family comprising seven members, including a minor Anil, police said.

Entire family was admitted to hospital in critical condition, where Anil succumbed to his injuries.

Ironically, the incident occured near a SP's residence.

Investigations were underwaym, they added.
