Tamil Nadu: Youth rage entails murder

Chennai, Feb 2 : A youth was stabbed to death by his colleague, an elderly man, after he made fun of him at suburban Pallavaram today.

Police said Ibrahim (24), hailing from Tuticorin, and Md Ali Jinnah (55) of Sivaganga, were working in Tiruppur Cotton readymade shop when the former casually made fun of the latter. A wordy duel ensued and in a fit of rage, Jinnah stabbed the youth with a scissor.

As he bled profusely, Ibrahim was rushed to the Chromepet Government Hospital and then to Government General Hospital, where he was declared dead.

Police arrested Jinnah on the charge of murder.
