Justice Bhalla sworn in as HP Chief Justice

Shimla, Feb 2 (UNI) Justice Jagdish Bhalla was today sworn in as the 17th Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court in a simple but an impressive ceremony here.

State Governor V S Kokje administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Bhalla at Raj Bhawan.

Himachal Chief Secretary Ravi Dhingra read out his warrant of appointment in presence of state Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Assembly Speaker Tulsi Ram, Transport Minister Kishen Kapoor, Irrigation and Public Health Minister Ravinder Singh Ravi, Leader of opposition in the assembly Vidya Stokes and other dignitaries.
