Chilly weather persists in Patna

Patna, Feb 02(UNI) People in Patna continued to be bashed by winter chill as the night temperature plummeted to 5.8 degrees Celsius.

The chilly weather, continuing in the entire state for the last couple of days, persisted today despite a sunny day.

Yesterday the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.4 degrees Celsius.

Forecasting mainly clear sky with possibility of mist in the morning, local Met sources here said today's maximum temperature was recorded at 21.4 degrees Celsius.

Maximum relative humidity was pegged at 89 per cent, the Met office informed.

Met officials further predicted no significant change in the temperature during the next 24 hours.
