Rajnath Singh refuses to resign over CD row

New Delhi, Jan 30, 2008 : Chief of India"s main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajnath Singh on January 30 said that there was no question of his stepping down from office over an offensive compact disc, whose release during a state poll in April 2007 caused a national furore.

BJP's provincial unit in Uttar Pradesh state had released the disc, which was critical of the Muslim community.
