PM condoles Karanjia's death

New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed deep grief at the passing away of veteran journalist R K Karanjia and lauded his rich contribution to journalism.

''Mr Karanjia was a respected and veteran journalist who received acclaim and recognition within and outside India for his rich contribution to the world of journalism. His outstanding achievements, as a media personality set many new landmarks in the field of journalism,'' the Prime Minister said in his condolence message.
