MP Cong objects to CM's photo in govt documents
Bhopal, Feb 1 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress has taken strong exception to publishing of photograph and message of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in government documents 'Land Rights Booklet' and 'Loan Book'.
According to a party statement issued here today, a delegation of Congress workers led by state party general secretary and spokesperson Manak Agrawal submitted a memorandum to Governor Balram Jakhar stating that publishing of photograph and message of the CM was against rules.
The memorandum pointed out that such booklets printed during the previous Congress regimes did not publish message or photograph of a minister. The party demanded that the booklets be cancelled.
The government is distributing 'Land Rights Booklet' and 'Loan Book' to farmers in order to provide details of their property.
