Kerala: Laurels for college students

Kottayam, Feb 1: Students of the Electronics and Communications Department of the Kidangoor Engineering College here have bagged the second prize in the ''Tec fest- 2008'' competitions conducted by the IIT Mumbai.

At a news conference here today, the college students said their ''Real Time Controllable Robot'' secured them the laurels at the national level.

Presenting a model of the robot, they said it could penetrate into inaccessible areas and collect video pictures and rectify faults.
