LAD employees take out procession to press demands

Puducherry, Feb 1 (UNI) The employees of Local Administration Department (LAD) here went on a mass casual leave today and took out a procession to press their demands.

The employees were protesting the behaviour of municipal councillors and chairperson for entering the local administration department and damging properties besides abusing department director Vallabhan on January 29.

They took out a procession from their office to the Legislative Assembly.

The employees met Chief Minister N Rangasamy and submitted a memorandum demanding action against the councillors.
