Kidney racket suspect nabbed

Jaipur, Feb 1 (UNI) A consultant anaesthetist, based in Alwar, has been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police in connection with infamous multi-crore kidney transplant racket.

The suspect, Dr KK Agrawal, who was not seen at his Subhash Nagar residence in Alwar for past two days, has reportedly been picked up by the UP Police, a Police Spokesman said.

However, the UP Police had neither sought assistance from the local police nor it informed them of its action, the spokesman added.

Dr Agrawal had been working as consultant anaesthetist and used to pay visits, on call, to various clinics and hospitals in Gurgaon.
