Funding of NewsX channel will be probed: Dasmunsi
New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) The allegations about the funding of about to be launched TV channel NewsX, from which Mr Vir Sanghvi recently resigned as CEO after some differences with the management, have been referred to the Finance Ministry to ascertain facts.
This was stated here by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting after a delegation of senior electronic media journalists and news editors of the NewsX called on Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi and told him that they were meted out ''shocking treatment at hands of the security staff and other persons and later on they were sacked.''
