Freedom Fighter-Scribe Ram Chandra Boda passes away
Jaipur, Feb 1(UNI) Freedom Fighter and veteran Journalist Ram Chandra Boda passed away here last night.
He was 85. He is survived by three sons.
He was cremated with state honours at the Lal Kothi Cremation- Grounds here this afternoon. His Journalist son Rajendra Boda lit the funeral pyre.
Mr Boda was instrumental in historic Jodhpur bomb blast case during the freedom movement and was awarded eight year jail term in the case.
After the Independence, he had joined service in the Rajasthan's Public Relations Department and retired as Deupty Director. Later, he had worked for the news agency, Press Trust of India(PTI) and newspapers including the Times of India and the Statesman.
