K'taka: DC notice to CMC Commissioner on R-Day

Madikeri (Karnataka), Feb 1: Deputy Commissioner K R Niranjan has issued a notice to City Municipal Council Commissioner D H Raya seeking explanation on failure in organising Republic Day function properly.

The Commissioner has sought explanation on the non-availability of sound system during the hoisting of the national flag on January 26.

Besides, no proper arrangements for conducting of parade were made.
