Andhra Bank revises interest rates on NRE accounts
Hyderabad, Feb 1 (UNI) The Andhra Bank today announced revision of interest rates on deposits under Non-Resident (External) (NRE) Rupee Accounts.
The interest rate for deposits with maturity period of one year to less than two years would be 2.85 per cent as compared to the previous 4.22 per cent, whereas deposits with maturity period of two years to less than three years would have an interest rate of 2.84 per cent as compared to the earlier 3.85 per cent, a bank release here said.
Interest rate on deposits for maturity period of three years had been reduced from the previous 3.95 per cent to 3.08 per cent. The revised interest rates would be applicable for all fresh deposits and renewals of the existing deposits with effect from today.
