Gowariker's 'Jodhaa Akbar' is in trouble

New Delhi, Jan 31, 2008 : According to the Rajput community in Rajasthan, director Ashutosh Gowariker has distorted facts in his magnum opus 'Jodha Akbar" which is slated to be released on Feb 15.

As per Narendra Singh Rajawat, head of the Rajput Sabha, Gowariker is presenting Jodhabai as Mughal emperor Jalaluddin Akbar's wife, which according to him is factually incorrect. The head of the Rajput Sabha also claimed that such distortions of historical facts had hurt the feelings of the Rajput community.
