Three killed as tanker rams into parked taxis

Mumbai, Jan 31 (UNI) Three persons were killed and three others injured when a tanker rammed into three parked taxis today.

A tanker rammed into the parked taxis near a parking stand in Vashi killing three passengers, who were in one of the taxis, on the spot and injuring three taxi drivers, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Vijay Kumar (35), Krishna Kumar (26) and Dinesh Narayan (35). Two of the injured, Uttan and Tiwari, have been admitted to the MGM Hospital, while the third, Santosh Yadav, has been admitted to the New Mumbai Corporation Hospital.
