Siemens Q1 net at Rs 197.05 cr
New Delhi, Jan 31 (UNI) Siemens Ltd today said its net profit has increased to Rs 197.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 where as the same was at Rs 98.07 crore for the same period a year ago.
Total income also witnessed a hike to Rs 1,921.02 crore for Q1 FY2007-08 as against Rs 1,648.24 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
Since the company has hived off a number of its units, the figures for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 are not strictly comparable with the figures of the same quarter a year ago, a company statement said.
