Naqvi to flag off 'Sankalp Sandesh Yatra' tomorrow

New Delhi, Jan 31 (UNI) BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and party General Secretary Arun Jaitley will flag off the party's 'Sankalp Sandesh Yatra' from the BJP headquarters tomorrow to expose the failure of the UPA Government on all fronts.

The motorcade Yatra, a part of the party's campaign strategy, would tour north India and highlight the problems being faced by the common man during the UPA regime.

Talking to newspersons, Mr Naqvi said the party had planned about four dozen such yatras across the country to expose before the people the weak anti-terrorist policy of the government leading to the rise in terrorist activities in the country.

Party's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani and party president Rajnath Singh will be addressing a rally coinciding with the yatra's arrival at Rampur on February 12. The rally would be attended by senior party leaders.

He said they would expose ''the UPA's anti-farmer and anti-labour policies which were forcing the farmers and landless labourers to commit suicides.'' Unemployment was increasing and the government had miserably failed to contain price rise, hitting the commonman dearly, he added.

Mr Naqvi said during the campaign films would be showed besides 'Nukkad Natak' (street plays) would be organised during the overnight stay in the town on the way.
