MNNIT to hold CULRAV-08 from Feb 19

Allahabad, Jan 31 (UNI) The three-day National Level cultural extravaganza 'CULRAV', organised by Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, one of the premier technology institutions of the country, would be held from February 19 to 22.

Drama, dance, street plays, fashion shows, live music concerts and various literay events would punctuate the three-day show in which several well-known artistes would participate. 'Folk dance' and 'panorama', the cultural pavilion, literary events named ''Pot Pourri'' will have debate, extempore, dumb charades along with ''Fine Arts'' events such as street painting, face painting, clay modelling and innovative events such as ''Painting with Light'' would also form part of the 'Culrav-08'.

This year the two big draws apart from the other events would be our ''Celebrity Night'' and ''Battle of the Bands Competition'', Prof Rakesh Narayan , the Dean Student Affairs said.

Culrav'08 has media tie-ups with Big FM Radio, Hindustan Times, Sahara Samay and IBN7 for this anniual cultural affair.
