Jogi to contest against Chhattisgarh CM
Raipur, Jan 31 (UNI) Congress Working Committee member and MP Ajit Jogi today reiterated his intention to contest against Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh in the assembly elections scheduled later this year.
''I will fight against Dr Singh whether he contests the polls from Kawardha, Dongargaon or any other constituency,'' the former chief minister told newspersons here. Dr Singh represents Rajnandgaon district's Dongargaon and he may contest from Kawardha this time round.
Mr Jogi said both Kawardha's Congress MLA Yogeshwarraj Singh and former minister Gitadevi Singh -- who was the party candidate from Dongargaon -- have agreed to make way for him.
