Govt school, Pataudi bags Youth Parliament shield
Chandigarh, Jan 31 (UNI) The Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Pataudi (Gurgaon) has bagged the shield in the State Level Youth Parliament Competition held in State Council Educational Researh and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.
Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Charkhi Dadri (Bhiwani) and Government Senior Secondary School, Kavi (Panipat) got the second and third positions respectively, an official spokesman said here today.
Union Minister of State for Defence production, Rao Inderjeet Singh gave away the prizes to the winners of the competition. The Minister appreciated the presentation of parliamentary proceeding performed by the students of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Pataudi which was prepared by the State Technical Education Department of SCERT.
Commissioner and Director of Higher Education Department Haryana, Mr. Anurag Rastogi said that this competition was being organised every year by the SCERT and Technical Education Department with the assistance of Central Government.
