CRPF official shot dead, jawan held

Hyderabad, Jan 31: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) official was shot dead by a CRPF Jawan with his service rifle at Chanrayanagutta camp office here tonight.

Police siad the jawan opened fire at the CRPF Additional DIG (Administration) SSA Khan near his chamber at group centre in the CRPF campus.

The official succumbed to bullet injuries on his head at Osmania General Hospital, soon after being admitted.

The jawan was immediately taken into police custody.

Police said to the spot and cordoned off the area. Mediapersons were also denied entry into the premises.
