Britney taken to hospital one more time

London, January 31 : Beleaguered pop diva Britney Spears has been admitted to a hospital for emergency help.

A website report says that she was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, which picked her up at her Studio City home.

More than a dozen motorcycle officers, two police cruisers and two police helicopters escorted the ambulance.

Although Los Angeles police have yet not confirmed the incident, the TMZ report suggests that Britney has been taken to UCLA Medical Center.

It is said that the singer will be placed at the facility on a 5150 hold, the involuntary confinement of a person deemed to be a danger to themselves or others, reports the Telegraph.

Earlier, a photo agency called X17online quoted a family insider as alleging that Britney had attempted suicide. However, the same source later retracted the statement.

This is the second time that Britney has been taken to hospital since last month, when she suffered a breakdown after having an argument her with ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody of their two children.
