BJP to kick-off star campaign in Nagaland
Kohima, Jan 31 (UNI) The BJP has announced that their star-studded campaigns for the Nagaland Assembly elections will be kickstarted by former cricketer Navjyot Singh Sidhu.
A release, issued here yesterday by general secretary of the Nagaland unit of the BJP Avinash Koli, stated that Mr Sidhu, also an MP, will address a public rally at Wokha town, the district headquarters, on February seven.
Mr Sidhu will arrive at Dimapur on February six, along with BJP national election in-charge Rajiv Pratap Rudy, and later proceed to Kohima.
He will proceed to Wokha along with Mr Rudy and former state minister Dr T M Lotha, who is the BJP candidate from the Wokha town Assembly constituency.
Later, Mr Sidhu and Mr Rudy will leave for Guwahati on February seven, Mr Koli said.
