French Legion of Honour award to Narayana Murthy

New Delhi, Jan 27, 2008 : French government conferred Infosys chief mentor N. R. Narayana Murthy the prestigious 'Office of the Legion of Honour' award on January 26th in New Delhi.

France's Legion of honour, has five distinct ranks and is conferred for outstanding achievements in either military or civil life. Murthy is a member of the advisory boards and councils of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the University of Tokyo.
