Tributes paid to Father of the Nation
Imphal, Jan 30 (UNI) Manipur Governor S S Sidhu led the state in offering tributes to Father of the Nation on his 60th dead anniversary here today.
Reports from other parts of the state said that the Martyrs day was observed at several educational intitutions with students paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
Floral tributes were offered to the portrait in all party offices with ministers, MLAs and officials attending the function.
Devotional songs were also presented during the function.
