Teachers allowed to continue in same schools this year
Hyderabad, Jan 30 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government has issued an order to allow teachers, who were transfered to their native places as part of the implementation of GO 610, to continue working in the same schools on deputation till the completion of the academic year to avoid inconveniences.
Addressing a press conference here today, School Education Principal Secretary C B S Venkata Ramana said the Sub-Committee on implementation of GO 610 had agreed to the pleas of the Education department that the transferred teachers be allowed to continue in the same schools till the end of the academic year. They would be relieved on the last day of the academic year and one day before the commencement of summar holidays.
The Government had transferred 1,969 teachers to their native districts in the first phase and 2,969 in the second phase.
