Sun Pharmaceutical Q3 net zooms 109.48 pc at Rs 345.93 cr

New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd today said its net profit stood at Rs 345.93 crore for the third quarter ended December 2007, against Rs 165.13 crore over the same period a year ago, thereby posting a whopping 109.48 increase.

Total income has seen a 56.92 per cent jump at Rs 960.33 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, as compared to Rs 611.97 crore for same quarter last year.

The firm said in a statement that its consolidated net profit reached at Rs 318.35 crore with a 60.09 per cent hike for the quarter ended December 2007, against Rs 198.85 crore during the corresponding period previous year.

Its consolidated total income has increased from Rs 603.59 crore for the quarter ended December 2006 to Rs 821.88 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, registering a 36.16 per cent increase.
