Seven get ten-yr RI in separate attempt to murder cases
Jamui, Jan 30 (UNI) A local Fast Track court today awarded ten-year rigorous imprisonment to seven accused in separate attempts to murder cases.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 2000 on each of the convicts.
Fast Track court Judge Nand Kishor Gupta found six people guilty of attempt to murder of Pudina Devi, a native of Kairakado village under Khaira police station in the district and awarded them rigorous imprisonment.
According to charges, the convicts had attempted to murder the victim on February 5, 2001.
In another attempt to murder case, Mr Gupta awarded ten-year rigorous imprisonment to Shanker Mistry with the fine of Rs 2000.
