Reliance launches first hypermarket in Saurashtra

Jamnagar, Jan 30 (UNI) Reliance Retail Ltd today launched its Hypermarket near Jamnagar which is first of its kind in the Saurashtra region.

Talking to mediapersons here at the launching ceremony, Group President Mr Parimal Nathwati said that this is the second Reliance Mart launched today after Ahmedabad.

Mr Nathwani said ''the revolution in organised retail in India can bring about unprecedented socio-economic transformation in our country.'' Jamnagar Reliance Mart is spread across 83,000 square feet of shopping area. It will provide the shoppers a never before experienced shopping delight. The hypermarket will carry a range of over 35,000 products catering to the entire family, Mr Nathwani said.

Such Hypermarkets will be launched in near future at Rajkot, Surat, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar and two more in Ahmedabad, he added.

The Mall building near Jamnagar was constructed at the cost of Rs 80 crore, Mr Nathwani said.

Reliance Mart seeks to exceed its customer's expectations by offering them a wide range of products and services of guaranteed quality at unmatched affordability, he said.

Hypermarket offers some unique services to the shopper like tailoring, watch repair, florist, ResQ (CDIT service), all within the store.

Besides this, Reliance Mart has Reliance Auto Zone which will cater to the needs of vehicle owners. It will offer product retail as well as after sales service for bikes and cars together. Car detailing, car care, periodic maintenance and quick and running repair are some of the facilities offered.

It also offers comprehensive auto accessories along with on the spot installation.
