LDF government trying to save corrupt ministers: George
Kottayam, Jan 30 (UNI) Kerala Congress (Secular) leader and MLA, P C George, today took strong exception to the manner in which the state government was trying to save the ''corrupt'' ministers in controversial HMT land deal.
At a news conference here, he said today's Cabinet decision to order an inquiry into the deal under leadership of the Chief Secretary was nothing but part of a conspiracy to save the ministers by fooling the public.
The probe should be conducted only after removing the ''tainted'' Ministers for Industry and Revenue, he said.
Mr George said HMT had no right to alienate the property to private parties and to make money and he described the deal as illegal.
