IBS bags Emerging Cargo IT Systems Provider award
Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 30 (UNI) IBS Software, a leading provider of new-generation IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics (TTL) industries, bags the 'Emerging Cargo IT Systems Provider of the year' award.
IBS Chairman and CEO V K Mathews received the award from Dubai Logistics City CEO Michael Proffitt at the Air Cargo India 2008, an international event that concluded at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai.
''Our collaboration with six major cargo carriers has helped to develop the most definitive next-generation CMS to enable airlines move away from decades old legacy systems,'' a release quoted him as saying.
The IBS' cargo management systems were used by CargoJet, Northern Air Cargo and the Avient Airlines apart from Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA), All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Air New Zealand Cargo.
