High Command will take decision on Krishna: KPCC President
Gulbarga, Jan 30 (UNI) The Congress High Command will take a decision on the issue of Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna returning to Karnataka politics, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Mallikarjuna Kharge informed today.
Addressing newspersons here, he said the state Congress would welcome Mr Krishna if the party top brass took such a decision.
Charging the Karnataka unit of the BJP with adopting ''double standards'' on holding election to the Karnataka Assembly, Mr Kharge said ''The BJP wants both -- the completion of delimitation process and holding of immediate elections to the state Assembly. It shows its double standards on the issue''.
Stating that the Congress in Karnataka was ready to face the election anytime, he denied that his party was trying to defer the polls.
