Godrej plans to boost AC sales in K'taka

Bangalore, Jan 30 (UNI) Godrej Appliances today announced its plans to become the top air conditioner seller in Karnataka by next year.

Company Chief Operating Officer George Menezes told reporters here that the air conditioner sales in the State was currently growing at 98 per cent, of which window ACs was at 30 per cent and split AC at 70 per cent.

The company expected to continue the same growth pattern in the next two years and would continue to focus on both AC types and would constantly add innovative ranges and schemes to suit the various needs of consumers, he said.

Mr Menezes said the company also planned to set up 200 cool zones, including 12 in the State, to educate the consumers make correct choices as per their requirements.

The company launched its new range of Navigator window air conditioners in the city today.
