East India Hotels Q3 net up 16.88pc
New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) East India Hotels Ltd (EIH), a member of the Oberoi Group, today said its net profit has increased 16.88 per cent to Rs 72.4 crore for the third quarter ended December 2007, as compared to Rs 61.94 crore for the same period a year ago.
Total income has also witnessed a hike of 17.46 per cent to Rs 326.85 crore for Q3FY08 from Rs 278.25 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
East India Hotels (EIH), which operates hotels in metropolitan cities and tourist locations in the country, has a number of subsidiaries including, Oberoi Kerala Hotels and Resorts Ltd, Mumtaz Hotels Ltd, Mercury Travels Ltd, EIH International Ltd and Rajgarh Palace Hotel and Resorts Ltd.
