CSI church's Tiruchi diocese gets new Bishop

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 30 (UNI) Dr G Paul Vasanthakumar was today consecrated as the fifth Bishop of the Tiruchirapalli-Thanjavur Diocese of the Church of South India (CSI) at a colourful ceremony here.

Dr J W Gladstone and Dr Christopher Asir were the Moderator and Deputy Moderator of the ceremony.

Later, a public reception was given to the newly consecrated Bishop.
