Chidambaram approves 34 FDI proposals
New Delhi, Jan 30 : Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram today approved 34 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) proposals worth Rs. 2288.40 crore.

The proposals were recommended by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in its meeting held on January 18.
The proposals are related to Ministries/Departments, namely, Chemicals and petro-chemicals, Commerce, Health and Family Welfare, Industrial Policy and Promotion, Information and Broadcasting, Posts, Telecommunications, Urban Development and Economic Affairs.
