CBSE exam counselling services to begin from Feb one
New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would commence from February one the first phase of counselling for students and parents to overcome anxiety and examination-related stress.
The first phase of counselling would conclude on March 31, the CBSE said.
This is the eleventh consecutive year that the CBSE would be providing counselling services to students and parents during examinations.
The CBSE said 13 counsellors have been appointed for Delhi, New Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR), five for Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, three for Uttar Pradesh, two each for Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Orissa, and one each for Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
The CBSE would also provide tele-counselling services outside India. Two counsellors have been appointed for Kuwait and one each for Dubai, Sharjah, Yemen and Doha, it said.
