Cabinet extends term of second administrative reforms commission

New Delhi, Jan 30 : The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for extension of the term of the Second Administrative Reforms Commission for submission of its reports by a period of six months.

The commission was earlier supposed to submit its report by March 30.

The commission was set up to prepare a detailed blueprint for revamping the public administration system.

Implementation of its reports after due consideration is bound to improve service delivery.
