BSP in Karnataka favors election after delimitation process
Belgaum, Jan 30 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Karnataka favour to hold assembly elections in Karnataka only after completion of the process of delimitation of Assembly constituencies as recommended by Justice Kuldip Singh Commission.
Speaking to news persons here today BSP National General Secretary Mr Sindhia felt that if elections were held after delimitation process as many 16 more legislators belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will be get elected to the state assembly.
However Mr Sindhia urged the Election Commission to complete the delimitation process as early as possible and hold the elections without any more delay.
Expressing confidence that BSP will gain ground in the state and will be able to form government on its strength in the days to come Mr Sindhia assured that all people will get their deserved share in contesting the assembly elections. "Party believes in uniting all communities and dose not practice caste politics" he said.
Some of the local Congress leaders including KPCC member Shankar Munavalli have joined BSP in Belgaum district Mr Sindhia added.
