BJP demands reservation duration to be 60 days

Mumbai, Jan 30 (UNI) BJP spokesman Madhav Bhandari today demanded that the Central Government should roll back its decision to extend the duration of advance reservation to 90 days from 60 days, which will come into effect from February 1.

Talking to reporters, Mr Bhandari said due to extension in the duration of advance reservation there will be a boom in black marketing of tickets, particularly during holidays.

He said last year also, the Railway Department had tried to do the same but, rolled it back after a bitter experience.
