Stalling release of my book unfortunate:Vishwanath
Mysore, Jan 29 (UNI) Former Karnataka Minister and Senior Congress leader H Viswanath today termed as 'unfortunate' the yesterday's incident in which the release of his autobiography 'Halli Hakkiya Haadu' was stalled and defended his reference on Former Chief Minister S M Krishna.
Addressing the media persons here, he said that there was no derogatory references against Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna and it was mentioned in the book only as a passing reference. Even he was prepared to debate on this book and references made on Mr Krishna.
The copies of the books has been sent to Mr Krishna, his wife Preema Krishna and also actress Ms B Sarojadevi for their comments, he added.
Stating that the english translation of his book would be ready in another three months and same would be released at new Delhi. He said he had great respect to Mr Krishna and even worked in the Ministry during his tenure as Karnataka Chief Minister and continued to accept him as leader.
He appealed to appealed to the supporters of Mr Krishna and other congress workers to remain calm and let them read the book first and react and not to make this issue as an political one.
He said that his autobiography has nothing to do with the political situation in the state and when Mr Krishna was returning to State politics.
Earlier noted writer Prof Govindaiah released the autobiography 'Halli Hakkiya Haadu' in front of the media persons.
