Pune, Jan 29 (UNI) Rains or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, north Chattisgarh, coastal Tamil Nadu, Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Severe cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Vidarbha.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in Punjab, Jammu and in some parts of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra as well as at isolated places in Jharkhand, Saurashtra and Marathwada.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, south Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalay, Tamil Nadu, Rayalseema and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Orissa, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Konkan, Goa, Telangana, interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Jharkhand, Haryana, west Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. They were below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Chattisgarh and in remaining parts of Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra.

They were appreciably above normal in some parts of Rajasthan and were above normal in Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.
