Navaranga Communication announces launch of Kamune

Hyderabad, Jan 29 (UNI) Navaraga Corporation today officially announced the launch of 'Kamune', a new collaborative web service, in a joint effort between Navaraga Corporation in the US and its subsidiary Navaraga Information Technologies Private Ltd here.

Kamune, under development since 2006, would initially be rolled out to business customers in India. The web service would use a metaphor of virtual places for interaction and organisation, which was designed to make communication and coordination more natural.

The system would allow users located anywhere and to connect remotely, eliminating the need to install or maintain any proprietary software. It would also utilise a combination of text chat, messages, file sharing, status updates and voice conferencing to stay connected.

Beyond communication, there were a variety of tools available on the system to increase productivity and track progress, a company release said.
