Kerala needs will to fight liquor lobby: HC
Kochi, Jan 29 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today observed that there should be a political and administrative will to fight the liquor lobby in the state.
Dismissing three bail applications in a case involving large quantities of spirit smuggling, Justice R Basant said the spirit lobby was controlled by affluent and powerful people.
The court ordered that there should be coordination between the excise and police departments in fighting the spirit lobby.
